Who am I?

A question I wake up and ask myself every morning, usually followed by what am I doing? How has it come to this and on some godforsaken Mondays, simply: why?

Read my blog, follow my journey and we can navigate all of life’s trickier questions together. Let me start by telling you what I do know –

My name is Kirsty. I’m almost 25 and I’m having a quarter-life crisis about it (cue dramatic eye-roll from anyone 25 and over, cursing my immature anxieties). It’s just that I’ve achieved so little so far and I really can’t see myself changing now.   I live in the North West with my boyfriend who I met at university in Cornwall and formed an unbreakable bond with over the little-remembered Nickelodeon show The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Well, that and crisps.

Me & Anthony

Somehow I keep finding that there is never enough wine.

Norway, wine

I enjoy cooking to varying degrees of success, the internet (don’t we all?), talking back to the TV and turning the lights off in my bathroom and pretending one scented candle and some Morrisons brand bubble bath make a luxurious spa retreat.

I’ve noticed that almost one hundred per cent of the lifestyle blogs I admire and enjoy on a daily basis cater mainly to people who leave the house (for actual fun, not just to go to work and earn money to fund their shoe habits with). But what about the rest of us, the ones who just can’t be bothered to unlock the front door and get out there, the ones who like to enjoy our fancy signature cocktails in our jammies with a side of Netflix, the ones to who staying in does not mean creating an elaborate table centrepiece and arranging a platter of miniature gourmet snacks to be shared with a swarm of our besties.

Yes, my friends, it’s arrived. The thing you didn’t even know you were looking for:

A lifestyle blog for people who don’t get out much.

Grab a glass of wine, pull your bedsocks up a little higher, it’s going to be wild.
